Thomas James Woodward was born in Pontypridd, Wales on Junes 7th
1940.
He was named after his father but went on to change his name when
he became more popular as lead singer in a band called Tom Jones and the
Squires.
He was married at 17 to his childhood sweetheart, Linda, who was
then pregnant with his only child, Mark, who eventually went on to become
his manager
Once the talent of Tom had finally been realised he became a solo
artist and went on to have a large number of hit singles and recorded many
duets with other famous artists.
Tom is still as popular today as he ever was, still releasing albums,
namely 'RELOAD'.
